It took me a while to think about it before positing. I have never known a person at any depth who I thought was boring.
Many people are afraid of being different, so they learn to act like think they are 'supposed to' act. They try to act like everyone else. They learn to act like boring people.
Do the world a favor! Don't try to act like everyone else.
If you just act like yourself, you may end up making both your life, and the lives of the people you meet, more interesting.

Before speaking to your team ask yourself, "Will my comment increase their commitment?" If the answer is "No!", ask yourself, "Is it worth it?"
One of the great CEOs that I coached, a year after learning this simple lesson, said, "When I had the discipline to ask myself this question, about half of the time, I concluded, 'Am I right? Maybe.' 'Is it worth it?' 'No!'
"This does not just apply to leaders. It applies to all of us, at work and at home.
In many cases, 'Are we right?' Maybe.
'Is it worth it?' 'No!'

Joy is NOT the reward for getting everything right.
Life doesn’t work that way. Happiness and success are independent variables - one doesn’t guarantee the other.
What we can control is the effort we put into bringing a little more joy into the world each day.
Choose to be grateful. Choose to smile. Choose do your best to be happy now.
Don’t wait for the world to make you happy. Do your best to bring happiness to the world.
